Psalm 45:10-11, 13-15

Listen to me, O royal daughter; take heart to what I say. Forget your people and your homeland far away. For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. [...] The bride, a princess, waits within her chambers, dressed in a gown woven with gold. In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king, accompanied by her bridesmaids. What a joyful, enthusiastic procession as they enter the king's palace!

Our Indiana Adventure continues...

So last night I told you how our original flight was delayed, and it was. But we had more excitement in the airport at St. Louis. We didn't have assigned seats on our flight from St. Louis to Indianapolis, so we were supposed to go to the gate agent and get our sheets.

However, when we got there the gate agent said they weren't assigning seats yet, because they were going to be over their weight limit and some people weren't going to make it on the flight. Can we say a little stress? Ah! I called my grandmother who lives in Highland, IL (about an hour from the airport) and joked with her about how we were coming to visit her. We entertained the idea of just driving to Indianapolis...only about 4 hours, nothing right?

Well...after waiting a little while longer we got on the flight. We made it here. Martinsville, Indiana. It's dark and snowing...about 3 inches. Scary roads for a Southern Californian driver, although I do have a tiny bit of snow driving experience from a snowstorm in South Carolina.

But guess what? Our hotel is next to a Kroger! This is my first one! How exciting... ; )

The bottom line: I'm glad we're here.
