Psalm 45:10-11, 13-15

Listen to me, O royal daughter; take heart to what I say. Forget your people and your homeland far away. For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. [...] The bride, a princess, waits within her chambers, dressed in a gown woven with gold. In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king, accompanied by her bridesmaids. What a joyful, enthusiastic procession as they enter the king's palace!

39 Weeks

A week from today and this little boy is due! He really could come anytime now...but who knows?

Isn't this the most attractive picture you've ever seen?
In my pajamas no less...

At our last appointment (on Thursday) I hadn't gained any new weight, his heartbeat was quick and strong, and my cervix was still softened but no dilation as of yet. So, I've been trying to rest and get things done here and there. One of my goals has been to have our wedding album completed before Joey's born. I'm, like, this--close!

Here's a pic from Halloween. I love the look on Ethan's face (Nick & Ann's son)!

Update: I forgot to say when I wrote this last night that we've actually had rain in the last couple of days. RAIN! Like, real rain that falls from the sky...well, it started with some drizzle on Sunday and it doesn't seem to rain for more than like 30 minutes to an hour...but it's rain!

And guess what? It's supposed to do it again today!

As for baby stuff, I had a lot of contractions/tightening/Braxton-Hicks for a couple of hours last night...then it stopped. We're trying to tell Joey to come between Monday and Wednesday of next week. Optimal option for Joe's time off and that's when his grandparents (ie, my parents) will be here. (Actually they'll be here from the 12th to the 17th. Hopefully, he comes then...)

Happy Voting Day!
